I seemed to have been removed from the list again, which is very odd considering we just spoke about it on here and you verified that it was okay. I believe someone may be editing the other listings without your consent... any way to track that? I added our business back on. Please let me know if there is an issue with it. Thanks!

Regarding your comments on May 5th and June 28th... I think that is a good idea. Asking people to place a logo on their web site will make it easier to determine which sites are just spamming and also it will show visitors to each site that the owners are subscribed to this pact. It will effectively help spread the word.

Apologies, but I seem to spend an hour a day deleting spam ... so anylistings that don't follow the guidelines just get the chop. Your listing is fine now.

I added my family's company a few days ago and it got removed... I'm assuming it's because I used my father's name instead of mine. Let me know if there are any issues with it now.

Also, I still can't seem to get to the website without the www... any ideas as to why this is?

Removed some affiliate sites and obvious spam sites.

I have just removed some sites that have been using blog spam and other practices from the list.

I think that offering transparency and excellent customer service is the only way I can possibly handle doing business. Some people I've met are "unencumbered" with a conscience and aren't afraid to do or say anything to make a buck or close the sale. I couldn't sleep well if I did things like that. I passionately feel that if you can't be 100% honest with your customers - then you are in the wrong type of business.

It is a fine line between the decision that a listing is genuine, and/or spam.

I am slowly going through the listings and removing ones that do not offer a service, as merely "adsense blogs" / "affiliate sites" ... but as I am just one of the volunteer administrators here and have a "real job" to do, it takes time.

I am happy for you to make suggestions as to which sites may be spam, but please do not remove any sites yourself - we (the administrators), will make the final decision.

The only real way is to have sites add a CCPact logo to their site, which is something in consideration.

Please mr.Vic Carrara take my request in to consideration. And it is only business owners but frankly increasing their PR from ccpact.
The Customer Pact is NOT a SEO resource as you clearly mentioned.

I could see a few spam related sites, and i removed it as their main aim is business in SEO. Please check it mr.Vic Carrara. See 187, 213, 214, and few more like that. please check and remove it. mr Vic Carrara.

I have to agree with Vic I think this website should be protected by having people get approved first before they can put a link.

I think this is an important website that we should protect from people who are trying to ruin in.

I reverted a previous edition, a spammer had taken over the front page...

I noticed our link along with many others had been removed. Some I am sure for proper reasons, however I know I did not advertise and did only put my name and my business name. Is there not anyone who makes a backup daily of the list on here? I mean it would not take but a couple of minutes to copy the entire source to a text doc and save it to either a network server or even to a single workstation. Just my two cents anyways, I have been a supporter of this site for over a year and have the CCPact hanging in my business right up front. Great job guys and if there is ever anything I can do to help feel free to email me.

The reason is that I suspect that you are adding links purely for SEO reasons.

Also, the name did not match the website.

As it says at the top of this page ... it is a requirement that everyone uses REAL NAMES.
Only business owners should be adding links.

PLUS - this is not a SEO resource - this is for people who agree with and follow the CCPact.

The two links made by Mikus (which I presume is you) were removed because they were not added to the bottom of the list, but were sneaked in higher.

The sincerewediing link was put in at number 126!

That is why it was removed.

1. You cheated the list.
2. You did not use your real name.

That is why you were removed - plain and simple.

I have been listed on here before you were "admin" I have had my full name and business name only listed. Look at many other and "your listing" which is not the exact name of your "SEO" business. So for other like myself only adding the exact name of their business I should be removed.

As it says at the top ... full name of the owner of the website.

Also, posting blocks of links is not allowed.

CCPact also keep the right to remove links that appear to simply be blatant promotion, without the sincerity of following through the aims of the pact.

The email address that you are using does suggest that you are an SEO company.

Also you do not run the company.

The point of the CCPact is for Business Owners to sign up, not for their SEO companys to find high PR links for them.
